The weekend of November 5-7, 2010 I had the unique opportunity to co-facilitate a couple’s intensive weekend workshop ,with Richard Blankenship of Cornerstone Psychotherapy, in North West Arkansas. The intensive included 5 couples dealing with sexaul integrity issues (which encompasses infidelity and sexual/porn addictions) and consisted of 25 hours of  group therapy. We used family sculpting (props shown in the picture above), process groups, visualization exercises and a variety of other techiniques to help the couples establish greater intimacy and foster awareness about the dynamics of their marriages. Throughout the weekend the members opened up, allowed their partners to see the authentic/imperfect people they are and appreciated one another’s vulenerability. I really enjoyed being a part of this workshop and am grateful to the couples who participated for allowing me to a part of their healing process.
